Abiomed Hosts Mobile Learning Lab at Fenway Park

O’Neill and Associates client Abiomed taught health care professionals and patients about its Impella miniature heart pump at Fenway Park on Aug. 12.

Abiomed set up a pop-up lab outside of Fenway Park, which included vascular models that illustrate how to insert catheters by entering the femoral artery in the thigh.

The Abiomed CEO Mike Minogue referred to the mobile learning lab as the world’s biggest show-and-tell vehicle in the history of medical devices.Impella

Everett resident Robert Pasquariella was at the mobile learning lab and told stories of how the Impella saved his life.
