While the threats of climate change may leave most businesses concerned for the future, John Hailer sees it as an opportunity for action.
The President and CEO of the Americas and Asia at Natixis Global Asset Management believes businesses have opportunity to effectively plan for the uncertainty associated with climate change, while also creating innovative policies relating to social and environmental responsibility, energy efficiency and alternative energy.
In his latest blog on LinkedIn’s Pulse, Hailer said his company has developed a comprehensive corporate social responsibility policy which includes initiatives to lessen the company’s carbon footprint.
Hailer reveals that his company is moving its U.S. headquarters to a new location designed to be Boston’s most sustainable office building. It includes a variety of unique features, and it will use significantly less energy and water than the average office building in the U.S.
